Made to Measure
Further to your first visit to our showroom to see the range of fireplaces available and the arrangement of a free survey, we will visit your home to take measurements and discuss with you the style and size of the fire surround.
When satisfied, scale drawings are done to finalize the appearance of the surround in relation to the gas or electric fire to be fitted and to the size of the room. Once you are happy with the design, the materials and colour can then be selected from a range of marble, stone and slate.
The removal of the existing fireplace, fire and interior brickwork is done prior to the new fireplace being installed by our own fitters and the area prepared for the new surround. The surround and hearth are then fitted and any alterations to any carpets would be done before the hearth is bedded down. Finally the electrictricity and gas connections are made (whichever is required) and then all checks are made to ensure the fireplace is fully operational.
This service also applies to the measurments and installation of hearths, windowsills and vanity tops to any specification you require.
